Wishlist for Spring: Part 1

wishlist

Wishlist part 1…because you know there will be more right? Sometimes, reading through your blog feed or twitter feed can be a real problem. Especially if you’ve been trying to finish up products before buying anything new. Here are the things currently tempting me, and links to the temptresses who inspired the desire to buy…

We begin with sunscreen. If you’ve been following along, you know that I love Badger’s Antioxidant Damascus Rose Sunscreen (reviewed here.) Unfortunately, it’s only SPF 16 and it’s also unavailable while they reformulate it. I hope I still love it. In the meantime, winter summer is coming and a new and stronger sunscreen is needed. Blogger Sarita Coren must have been reading my mind, because today she did a post on her top 10 natural sunscreens. Check it out here. She has me wanting to try the Coola Face SPF 30 Cucumber Moisturizer. What did it for me? Use of the word velvety.

And now for a little luxe skincare. Browsing spiritbeautylounge.com has become a form of meditation for me. It is a beautifully curated online store for clean beauty products. I came across the Amala Rejuvenating Advanced Firming Complex and the reviews convinced me to spring for a trial size–twice. It is really nice stuff, though it’s too soon to review it. Anyway. since I am already dedicated to the art of exfoliation, I am always interested in firming products to compliment my efforts. In looking into the brand I came across this Truth in Aging review for Amala’s Rejuvenating Collagen Mask and…I want it, I want it, I want it.

And while we are on the subject of exfoliation, this week NoMoreDirtyLooks.com “exposed” Charissa’s morning skin and hair routine. And I quote:

Once every two weeks, I’ve now started using this crazy amazing mitt by Dermasuri.  I kept reading about these Korean spas and Turkish Hammans where they would scrub your skin right off.  Well, I thought that was a brilliant idea and found this mitt in a local beauty shop called Beauty Candy.  It’s awesome.  Is it crazy to like seeing my skin fall off in the shower?  Probably, but I like it!

Skin falling off in the shower! And look at what these reviewers on Amazon are saying. Shed like a snake? Don’t mind if I do.

  1. You’re spot on in your description of browsing Spirit Beauty Lounge. It does have a meditative quality! Very zen :-) I’m also an avid reader of [read that as: addicted to] Truth in Aging. Love your post and thanks so much for the mention! xo
